BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST - IMPRESSIONIST & MODERN ART

The Role

Responsible for supporting sale cycles for business groups and providing Business Intelligence analysis and insight.

Specific duties & responsibilities will include but are not limited to
  • Supports full sale process, business getting, and selling efforts as prioritized by the Client Strategy team
  • Maintains and updates records and databases
  • Collates relevant information for Business Getters and Client Strategy team
  • Gathers client and object data ensuring  relevant data capture and analytics are conducted
  • Captures competitor information and market data
  • Provides support in the campaign management process
  • Conducts research across all relevant tools both online and offline and prepares reports and briefs
  • Data mines across Christie’s systems, online and offline databases, files, and catalogues to support campaigns, consignment and selling efforts
  • Creates post-sale reports, supports preparation of post-sale debrief and analysis 
  • Generates regular reports for Client Strategy team, and Business Management
  • Provides data information for quality input adhering to the framework and guidelines set out
  • Provides metrics, tracking and regular reporting to support the business. including maintenance of lists for future reporting and targeting
  • Compiles event guest lists, catalogue distribution lists and client targeting as required
  • Captures event output and relevant metrics for future opportunities
  • Attends and co-ordinates ‘spotting’ for sales and ensures activity is captured
  • Provides bespoke information for internal teams team as required Works with Business Intelligence team on creating and setting best practices and supporting the business as needed

The Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, business process driven
  • Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office required; specifically, Excel
  • Ability to think analytically
  • Ability to manage multiple long-term projects
  • Ability to adjust schedule during sale seasons
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including superior written and spoken communication
  • Superior client service skills
  • Extreme discretion with confidential and sensitive information
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong follow-up skills with attention to detail
