The Role

The Client Management Coordinator supports the Business Manager for Client Management with day to day tasks and administrative duties. They will assist the Business Manager with the budgeting process, financial reporting, and operations management of the Client Management division, which includes Chairman’s Office, Restitution, Client Advisory, Corporate Library and 15 Regional Offices in North and South America. The duties are varied and described in detail below.

Specific duties & responsibilities will include but are not limited to
  • Pro-actively support Business Getters, Directors and Deputy Chairman
  • Able to grow relationships with clients of the business getters they support
  • Maintain awareness of strategies around specific clients and client groups
  • Work with Client Strategy to feed and receive information around clients
  • Coordinate with team members of CTLs and other regions or departments to insure cross-departmental opportunities
  • Support RSVP and guest list management
  • Coordinate specialist and executive visits to the region
  • Be a regional resource for art related information
  • Support training and onboarding programming of regional staff
  • Maintain departmental organizational information and files
  • Support the Business Manager with maintain the budget of the Client Management division, including: 
    • Evaluate and track business justifications for department expenditures
    • Help drive corporate cost management initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager
The Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management preferred; or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Fluent in Spanish and English languages 
  • Possess strong business acumen and financial literacy
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook required. Ability to learn Christie’s systems including COS, JDE, intranet and website
  • Ability to compile and analyze data
  • Ability to draft reports, presentations and business correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from colleagues and clients
  • Superior client service skills
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including superior written and spoken communication
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong follow-up skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work within a team environment
