HR Manager

 
Role Purpose:
 
Manage the HR Operations function to provide efficient HR services to the business. 
Deliver business aligned HR priorities; provide proactive, value- added HR support, advice, and coaching to defined business groups.
 
 
Area of Responsibilities:
 
HR Operations
  • Be an expert user of HRIS (Workday), manage various HR activities throughout the employee life cycle
  • Ensure employee data integrity for the Asia region
  • Manage transfers and secondment processes in accordance to the global mobility policy
  • Work closely with various HR team members to deliver regional & global projects
  • In partnership with Legal, manage regional templates for all HR related documents
  • Keep up to date on the latest HR related compliance requirements, ensure HR team members and line managers are educated on the relevant changes
  • Manage the regional HR budget and provide updates to appropriate stakeholders
  • Lead the Employee Relations Committee to organise corporate social responsibilities events and employee engagement activities  

Business Partnering

  • Build effective and influential partnerships with defined business groups
  • Actively support line managers throughout the performance management cycle
  • Manage compensation review processes, provide timely support & guidance to business managers
  • Support defined client groups in talent management and succession planning
  • Seek, identify and develop HR solutions for the region; including but not limited to new HR processes and systems
  • Manage employee relations issues by providing support and guidance to business managers within the policy and the legal framework of the relevant jurisdiction
  • Play a key role in cultivating desired company culture
  • Develop and maintain HR best practices for both operational and value-add initiatives 

 

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant HR experience
  • Fluent in spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese; highly proficient in written English
  • Exceptional communications and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work with ambiguity, be adaptable to different ways of working
  • Strong team player and able to collaborate with stakeholders at different levels in the organisation
  • Sound project management skills
