Administrator, Christie's Education, Asia

 

Role Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to provide logistical and administrative support to Christie’s Education programs in Asia. 

 

Responsibilities:

Client management and database upkeep

  • Respond to inquiries related to Christie’s Education Asia and monitor the general inbox
  • Manage and process applications and payments
  • Manage all speaker logistics and communication, including travel, accommodation, and study
    materials
  • Compile andmaintain applicant and speaker records
  • Create client profiles for relevant courses

Course planning and on-site support

  • Create, distribute, and organize all course materials, including timetables, speaker
    biographies, course handouts, bibliographies, certificates of attendance, and
    feedback forms.
  • Plan all logistics related to course, including sourcing venue, set-up, AV requirements, meals, visits, bus transportation, catalogues
  • Provide on-site support for all courses and events, including marking attendance, dealing with inquiries, and assisting speakers. Courses may take place on evenings / weekends and may require field trips and travel.

Marketing Support

  • Assist with the compiling of marketing assets for production of marketing deliverables including flyers, edm, social media content, press releases
  • Update content of Christie’s Education Asia website

General administrative support

  • Provide general administrative support to Christie’s Education Asia team as required
  • Processing of invoices and expenses with effort to ensure accurate coding and budgeting
  • Provide Chinese / English translation support where necessary
  • Assist in establishing presence of Christie’s Education New York and London in Asia

Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in Business or Art History is preferred
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in an administrative, customer service or event coordination role
  • Professional network in the art industry is a plus but not necessary
  • High level of accuracy; attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; hospitality experience highly regarded
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
